Just a thought, when a person says they will forsake all for Jesus, they often forget how difficult sometimes this can be. Peter declared this form of sacrifice and forsook the Lord three times in the twenty-sixth of Matthew. In the ninth of John, the former blind man challenged his peers to become disciples of the One who had opened his eyes, but they refused, being dominated by fear. Even Barnabas, the son of encouragement, lost his resolve as the Jews gathered too close for comfort. Following Jesus is always much easier to say, than to live. Although a reality, the only conviction which wins, is one which doesn’t fear mankind, but the One who can condemn both body and soul in a Devil’s Hell. Think about it.
