Just a thought, a person IN Christ should by all standards be distinct from someone is OUTSIDE of Christ. The Bible teaches one is ADDED to the Church when they have believed, repented, confessed, and are baptized into Him as recorded in the second of Acts. No other pattern of righteousness is found in the pages of Scripture. This person who obeys the will of the Lord then places a life-long submission and transformation amenable to the Lord as stated in the twelfth of Romans. Not loving the world is difficult, it is all we know up until we do not desire to anymore as James encourages in that fourth chapter.
