Is it me, or does everyone seem to be arguing over every little thing? Just a thought, what exactly does it mean to “fight the good fight”? We understand through Scripture, each of us has a fight to fight as see with Paul in the fourth of Second Corinthians. We also understand some battles belong to God, not ourselves as recorded in the seventeenth of First Samuel. We should also gather some conflicts are useless to the Lord because they do not lead towards righteousness according to the actions of Jesus in the twenty-sixth of Matthew.
So, just how does God see a “good fight” and why should it be undertaken regardless of the opposition? Combatting to benefit our own selves is useless and antithetical to the cause of Christ. Jesus taught His disciples would be hated, rejected, and troubled by men FOR His namesake, not for their won. Some people just live for strife; not understanding they do to their own demise. Fight when needed; avoid when it’s not. Live for Christ and allow Him to battle on your behalf for your soul.
Have the day you are meant to have in Christ alone,
