In the first of Amos we find these words, “Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever”
Just a thought, is it possible to “turn a blind eye” when it comes to justice and still be in accord with the Lord? From the beginning of time, we learned the truth of bearing one another’s burdens as seen in the fourth of Genesis. In the second of First John, we notice how walking in hate blinds us and keeps us at arms with God. “Turning a blind eye” is often used to refer to a willful refusal to acknowledge a particular reality. Once such reality is Christ died for all. We may not find it as a matter of immediacy, but God will not vouch for our unkindness towards the rest of His creation. Think about it.
Have the day you are meant to have in Christ alone,
