Just a thought, are you a “diehard”? This term normally applies to anyone with a strong dedication to a particular set of beliefs. I do not believe the term itself is negative because it engages one of the emotions God gives unto all: passion. But sentiments must not be displaced, hence the term diehard.
Some people’s intransigent lifestyle delivers aggression and pain towards all others. We tend to do this in politics, sports, education, and religion. We should not honor days as Paul records in the fourteenth of Romans. We should not esteem people as Luke records in the fifth of Acts. Most importantly, we should not revere any god before the Father of Heaven as Moses records in the twentieth of Exodus. Be a diehard, yes, but only for those things which lead us to righteousness.
