“Softly and tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me; see, on the portals he’s waiting and watching, watching for you and for me. In the forty-sixth division of the Psalms, we are encouraged to be still and know that God is Lord. How often does the lord encourage us to listen so we can hear Him and His loving instruction?
Just a thought, can great insight be made when we are willing to be silent and hear those things which are most important? We live in such a noisy, fast-paced world, it is difficult to know exactly what should be received and what should be shunned. The Bible helps guide our hearing.
In the seventeenth of Matthew God instructed us to hear His Beloved Son. The Holy Spirit teaches us all final instructions for someone seeking an eternity of bliss would come from Jesus as stated in the first of Hebrews. Jesus I still calling today, calling today. Will we open and heed His voice or is the world “louder and more enticing” than the words of life? Have the day you are meant to have in Christ alone,
